Yesterday Datuk Sahrir supported Borneons’ pleads for extra representatives in the cabinet.

Today Datuk Najib agrees too, in appreciation for Borneo Partners’ superb performance in the last election.

What will the reward be? Deputy Ministers? Senators?

Dr Tiki deserves a full ministership. Richard Riot ‘the chicken’ .. maybe a deputy ministership. Dawos maybe a senatorship, as he had successfully traded in our pride.

All Borneon paliamentarians: please do not settle for anything less than Deputy Prime Minister I for Sarawak and Deputy Prime Minister II for Sabah.

Remember Borneo! Remember that Sarawak and Sabah are equal partners in the Federation Of Malaysia. We have been cheated. We are not ’states’ but EQUAL PARTNERS.

It is now, or never. Barisan Nasional will give in. Barisan Rakyat will give in. You guys are now The King Makers. You get it?

STAR is New SNAP

STATE REFORM PARTY SARAWAK (STAR) as New SNAP

The Working Committee of STAR met on March 30, 2008 at 2.00 pm at its headquarters at Third Mile Bazaar. The Committee discussed at length about what had transpired before, during and after the just concluded General Election and agreed to the following as the first step towards a political revival in Sarawak in line with its effort to herald a better future for all Sarawakians in particular and all Malaysians generally and especially in its preparations for the Coming State Elections.

There must be a paradigm shift in the Sarawak voters’ mentality for Sarawak to progress further where the Opposition of Today can be the Government-in-waiting.

 

In line with its long-term struggle the Committee had agreed unanimously with the President’s decision to work closely together with SNAP, to ensure that the old struggle of SNAP, which had since been hijacked by the various factions through the respective leaders, who are responsible for the present state of affairs in SNAP. SNAP’s survival now lies with the Courts of Appeals.

 

In the event that SNAP is deregistered by the Court, the Committee had agreed that  SNAP members will be given the option either to register a ‘New SNAP’ like what UMNO did following its deregistration, or join any other existing parties both in BN or Opposition or join STAR as the New SNAP.

 

Joining STAR as the New SNAP will be in line with the agreement reached by the Party President and the President of SNAP prior to the last General Election. The Committee agreed unanimously with that agreement.

Yang penting Kalimantan Barat membangun”, kata Pak Gupnur Cornelis di Tebedu, hari ini, bila dikelilingi warga Indonesia, semasa kami stop minum.

Ini adalah kali pertama saya dengar Pak Gupnur bercakap dengan orang. Beliau tegas. Beliau straight to the point, sehingga pendengar terpaku dan kelihatan ingin nak banyak lagi ucapan.

Beliau juga ambil kesempatan promosi visi beliau terhadap Kalimantan Barat.

Beliau adalah governor Dayak Bidayuh yang kedua, selepas Pang Ulai. Semenjak Pang Ulai, semua governor adalah bangsa Jawa dari Jawa, kecuali mantan governor Usman Jaafar, yang bangsa Melayu dari Kalimantan Barat.

Selepas Pang Ulai, Dayak tunggu 60 tahun barulah ada governor Dayak lagi. Di Sarawak sudah 40 tahun Dayak tunggu, belum lagi ada Ketua Menteri Dayak.

Mungkin 2 tahun yang akan datang? Kalau Dayak KalBar bisa, Dayak Sarawak pun bisa!

PKR now in Bau

Anwar Ibrahim’s PKR today threw a small party at Kampung Sibuluh, 4th Mile Bau -Lundu road to announce her activation in Bau.

I understand that the organisers are all present and former members and symphatisers of SNAP or STAR. Possibly they are in delima as to the choice of a political party to join, as soon SNAP will be deregistered. Some do not have faith in STAR anymore due to nil opportunity in making extra bucks, or dislike of the leadership. Malaysian Dayak Congress is yet to be registered.

Most people are attracted to winners, thus the preference for PKR.

To join PKR as individuals is similar to joining UMNO as individuals. Both parties are Malayan and Malay dominated. You are just passengers under the influence of the Malay captain. You are serving your individual interest and not the interest of your community.

It is still wiser to join Pakatan Rakyat through a Sarawak based political party. Being Dayaks, it is preferable to join STAR or SNAP, and later join Pakatan Rakyat under STAR or SNAP umbrella. You will then be, to a larger extend, serving the interest of your community.

For those who personally do not quite like Dr Patau who is the STAR founder, he can always be removed via democratic process. In STAR, a president can serve up to a maximum of two terms. Meaning if STAR is in power, a STAR president will serve as Sarawak Chief Minister for a maximum of two terms.

Vote out selfish and individualistic politicians. Support Dayak politicians who are team players and have Dayak community at heart.

Jesus Of Nazareth the visitor.

At 2.07 pm, 22 March 2008, Easter Saturday, my Motorola indicated that there was an incoming sms.

Oh what a surprise! YB Peter Nansian was the sender.

During the last Parliamentary election I was all out to deny Barisan Nasional the 2/3 majority. I canvassed via sms, internet media and blogging. My final effort was in the form of a flier, which I only managed to distribute in Kampung Jagoi Duyoh, Jagoi Bogag, Jagoi Serikin, Stenggang and Stungkor.

SNAP won in Jagoi Serikin, Jagoi Duyoh and Stenggang. Although personally I never have any problems with Dr Tiki and Peter Nansian, as far as that election was concerned, they were my political foes. Therefore, without regret, in that flier I painted Peter Nansian as a betrayer to Dr Tiki, his fellow party comrade.

I expect him to be mad at me, yet he sent me this sms:

I am sorry to bother you but it is urgent. I have a friend coming from afar and need a place to stay. Since He’ll be around, so I have indicated your house. Please receive and love Him. His name is Jesus of Nazareth. Say this slowly: Jesus of Nazareth, I love You and I need You. Clean my heart with Your blood and Holy Spirit. Bless my house and my family. Send this to your loved ones who can be reached via sms. Happy Easter and God Bless.

My mission to STOP DAYAK CULTURAL GENOCIDE will still continue.

Shabery to hear out bloggers

‘Join them if you cannot beat them’, so the saying goes.

Bloggers were brought to court. Bloggers were intimidated. Yet everyday about half a million blogs are born.

Swisserikin was sincere, honest but blunt. Swisserikin tells the truth. Nothing but the truth. They cannot intimidate swisserikin. With their political might, swisserikin was burried. Swisserikin reincarnated as tunabdulrazak, the name that killed Dayak politics, the name that will continue Dayak Cultural Genocide.

It is proven now that the might of SMSs, and the internet media such as blogs, can topple the government. The Barisan Nasional now realise, and Shabery will work with bloggers.

How will the working relationship be? Will the bloggers be registered and licensed? Will the bloggers be bought out and gradually disappear? Will the bloggers be hired and work for BN instead? Or perhaps the stubborn and non-cooperating bloggers will be intimidated?

I hope that the bloggers will not be like Dayak politicians: some like Yakup dangdut; some like Taib’s ‘P Ramlees’; some like Mao Tze Tung’s ’strings’ and non stick to ngajat. Only Dr Patau so far, still stick to gonang oguong. 

In the end all are separated to serve non-Dayaks interest; just like cows tied on the nose and followed wherever their non-Dayak masters bring them to.

I desire change, and not power

Dear Haris, it seems that your heart has been blinded by hatred that everything that the BN government does is sure to be bad. Mind you,I too dislikes those who is corrupted but not all that they have done are bad or useless. You guys are getting cocky by the days and one day it will get to your head. Tell me what is the difference between you and them?

Please do not misconstrue as hate my total distrust for and rejection of a regime that has for so long inflicted injustice on the rakyat.

Yes, I despise the burden that they place on an already heavily burdened people.

I despise that they terrorise the very people they took oath to serve.

I despise that in the name of affirmative action, they rob and plunder from the impoverished.

I despise that in the name of God and religion, they inflict inhumane treatment on my fellow citizens. 

But I do not hate them.

I just wish they would leave us to begin the healing of a nation so badly scarred.

What difference between them and I, you ask.

I desire change, not power.

They ask you for power, but not to bring about change.

I desire a nation of a single people.

They would keep us divided.

I desire justice and equality.

They offer tyranny.

I desire that you, wayan562, and I, be heard.

They would rather have you and I silenced.

Getting cocky, you contend.

Again, do not confuse as cockiness a people slowly finding confidence from their mutual support to speak up, to assert themselves and to take their place in nation-building and governance.  

All this will get to my head, you say.

Press for DPM I & DPM II

YB Dr Tiki, YB Richard Riot and seventeen other Sarawakian Members Of Parliaments are presently believed to be in Singapore.

They are believed to be there to negotiate for terms and conditions for them to join Barisan Alternative.

Now is THE TIME. I am making this appeal as a concerned Dayak and as a Borneon.

1st: please press for the creation of the posts of Deputy Prime Minister I for Sarawak and Deputy Prime Minister II for Sabah.

2nd: please press for the restoration of Sarawak and Sabah as equal partners in the Federation of Malaysia. Malaysia = Malaya + Sarawak + Sabah. Sarawak and Sabah must from now be addressed as ‘Sarawak’  and ‘Sabah’ and NOT ‘Negeri Sarawak’ and ‘Negeri Sabah’.

3rd: please ask for 15% oil royalty for Sabah and Sarawak, from the present 5%.

4th: officially recognise us Dayaks as equal Bumiputeras, and not merely ‘Dan Lain Lain’.

5th: the Head of State of Sarawak and Sabah must be from indigenious group as we are the majority and natives of Borneo, as enshrined in the Cobbold Commission.

6th: I would rather our MPs join Barisan Alternative as members of SNAP or STAR or any other Sarawak-based or Sabah-based political parties, and NOT as individuals. Please learn from the bitter experiences the Sabahans faced, now that UMNO is in power in Sabah. It will not be too different if PKR, being a Malaya-based and Malay-dominated political party, is in power.

7th: Activities of Dayak Cultural Genocide must stop.

8th: Distribution of Opportunities must not be based and or influenced by ‘Islam as the official religion of Malaysia’, as it is now obviously abused and favouring Malays / Muslims. A new formula has to be worked out and agreed upon.

9th: NEP or DEB has to be revamped, as presently only those in the corridor of power benefit.

10th: Real Freedom Of Worship to be allowed. Christians must be allowed to utter ‘Allah’.

These are all for the success of The Federation of Malaysia.
